Feathers

 


I. fanned peacock
tail; feathers
adorn like
Sunday's best
dressed; prancing,
strutting in show
hoping to win
his mating call


II. floating following
the winds ways
twirling, spinning
falling, lifting
gambolling midair
landing at water's
edge, patiently
waiting to be found

Tranquility

  My inner vision's carrying me To a boat on quiet seas To a place where I can be To a place where I am free A place of such tranquility. That little boat's been torn and tossed In the storm I was so lost! Then I knew the deadly cost Satan brews a poison sauce... Washed away upon the cross. Mmmmmmm, new nails to complete the look

  Sand, sand; hills of sand; And the  wind  where nothing is Green  and  sweet  of the land; No  grass , no trees, No  bird , no  butterfly , But hills, hills of sand, And a burning  sky .
